Woman hurt seriously exiting moving vehicle

FINDLAY — A 23-year-old Findlay woman was hurt seriously yesterday when she tried to get out of a moving vehicle and struck her head on the pavement, police said.

Sevara Alimova was admitted in critical condition to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, where she was flown by helicopter after initially being treated at a Findlay hospital.

Ms. Alimova was in the back seat of the vehicle, which was moving at about 30 mph, when she tried to get out about 3:20 a.m. in the 300 block of Main Street, Sgt. Robert Ring said.
