FREMONT — Work on handicapped-accessible restrooms at the Sandusky County Fairgrounds will begin in September, shortly after the annual county fair closes, county officials said.
The fair board has approved a $99,970 contract for the restrooms with Ken Walters Masonry of Helena, Ohio. The county commissioners have pledged $35,000 for the project.
The restrooms will be built adjacent to the grandstands and will replace facilities that are under the viewing area.
