Clyde couple killed in crash on Route 101

CLYDE, Ohio — A Clyde couple were killed early yesterday when their car slid off State Rt. 101 and crashed in Sandusky County's York Township.

Lisa Norman, 32, who was driving the vehicle, and her husband, James Norman, Jr., 32, were westbound near County Road 268 about 12:25 a.m. when the accident occurred, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Troopers said the car began to overturn as it left the road and struck a tree, partially ejecting Mr. Norman, who was not wearing a seat belt. Alcohol is considered a factor in the crash, the highway patrol said.
