A man from Arcadia, Ohio, and a woman from Sandusky both won second-tier prizes in the multistate Mega Millions game.
Ronald Moses picked his own numbers and won $175,000 in the July 25 drawing, which comes to $121,125 after state and federal taxes. He found out about his winnings during his workday at Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. “I didn't believe it until I took it to Toledo and had it verified,” Mr. Moses said.
Elaine Knutson won $121,125 using the auto-pick method.
Mr. Moses bought his ticket at Eastside Party Mart in Findlay. Ms. Knutson bought hers at Top's market in Sandusky. Both stores get a $1,000 agent bonus for selling winning tickets.
