Charges were pending yesterday in a two-vehicle accident that sent three people to area hospitals Tuesday night.

The accident - on Perrysburg-Holland Road at Garden Road - occurred about 9:30 p.m.

Josh Miller, 16, of Perrysburg, a passenger in a Dodge Neon, remained in critical condition yesterday in Medical College of Ohio Hospitals. Another passenger, Brittany Navarre, 17, of Perrysburg, was in fair condition, a spokesman said.

The driver of their vehicle, Allyson R. Ball, 16, of 5849 Staghorn Drive, was sent to St. Luke's Hospital, according to Toledo police. Miss Ball was not listed at the hospital, a spokesman said yesterday.

Police said a Ford Explorer driven by Gregory M. Sigg, 17, of Maumee, was northbound on Perrysburg-Holland when Mr. Sigg attempted to make a left turn onto Garden.

The Explorer collided head-on with the Neon, which was traveling south on Perrysburg-Holland. Mr. Sigg was not hospitalized, according to police.

Toledo firefighters Tuesday incorrectly told The Blade Miss Navarre's age, that she was driving the Neon, and that she was taken to St. Luke's Hospital.
