ATA to expand daily service at Toledo Express

8/22/2003

ATA Connection will add a sixth daily round trip between Toledo Express Airport and Chicago's Midway Airport in late October, 16 months after beginning Toledo service with four daily trips.

Airline president Gary Marsh scheduled an appearance at the airport this morning to promote the flight and to remark upon ATA Connection's 10th anniversary as a scheduled airline.

The new flights, which take to the air Oct. 26, will add a 5:30 p.m. departure from Chicago to Toledo and a 7:55 p.m. trip the other way.

ATA Connection flies 34-seat turboprop aircraft on the route, which connects with jet flights belonging to parent ATA, a discount airline formerly known as American Trans Air, at Midway Airport.
