A Toledo man who was lying in the middle of Broadway when he was struck and dragged by a car in August was intoxicated and had marijuana in his body at the time of the accident, according to final autopsy results Toledo police received yesterday.

Anthony Garcia, 35, had a blood-alcohol level of 0.38, which is more than four times the legal driving limit, when he was hit by a car Aug. 3.

He died from head injuries he suffered in the accident, Dr. James Patrick, Lucas County coroner, said.

Brooke Ann Jeko, 20, of Oregon, was charged with aggravated vehicular homicide in connection with Mr. Garcia's death.
