Clyde woman hurt as pickup, car collide

SANDUSKY — A 22-year-old woman was hurt seriously yesterday when her car collided with a pickup on State Rt. 2 east of State Rt. 101 two miles south of the city in Erie County, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Karyn A. Musick of Clyde, Ohio, was flown to Cleveland MetroHealth Center. Her condition was not available.

Troopers said Shannon Gilley, 43, of Portsmouth, Ohio, was eastbound on Route 2 about 5 p.m. yesterday when his car was sideswiped by a pickup driven by Ms. Musick, who was entering eastbound Route 2 from Route 101.

Two passengers in the Musick vehicle were taken to Fireland's Coummunity Hospital. Nathaniel Prince, 20, of Bellevue was still being evaluated last night at the hospital. Richard Conner, 20, of Clyde was treated.

Mr. Gilley was not injured.
