SANDUSKY — Disbarred attorney Elsebeth Baumgartner is scheduled for trial Nov. 21 on a charge stemming from her removal from a hearing last week in Erie County Common Pleas Court.

Ms. Baumgartner pleaded not guilty Wednesday to a charge of persistent disorderly conduct during her arraignment in Sandusky Municipal Court. She is accused of causing a disturbance during a habeas corpus hearing on Oct. 20 for Krista Harris.

Ms. Baumgartner is a former Oak Harbor attorney who has accused numerous northwest Ohio public officials of corruption, theft, and other wrongdoing. She served several months in the Ottawa County jail after being convicted of falsification.
