VAN BUREN, Ohio - Two teenage girls from Findlay and a woman from Hamler, Ohio, were hurt yesterday when their two vehicles collided in Allen Township just southwest of here.

Emily Weiler, 16, was driving south on Township Road 142 near Hancock County Road 109, when she failed to yield at a stop sign for a vehicle driven by Rhonda Petersen, 40, at about 3:10 p.m., according to the Hancock County Sheriff's Office.

The Jaws of Life were used to free Ms. Weiler, and her passenger, Megan Weiler, 17, from the vehicle. All three people were taken to Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center, Findlay, where their conditions were unavailable last night.

The younger Ms. Weiler was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way, deputies said.
