ADRIAN — The National Weather Service will join Lenawee County officials tomorrow to dedicate a new weather radio transmitter to better cover southeast Michigan and northwest Ohio.
The dedication will be at 2 p.m. at the Lenawee County Courthouse.
Broadcasts already have started on the transmitter at a frequency of 162.450 MH. The broadcasts should have a range of about 40 miles, depending on terrain and other factors.
The National Weather Service paid for the transmitter.
