Henry County OKs bid for office-space project

4/2/2004

NAPOLEON - The Henry County commissioners yesterday approved a $399,605 bid package for renovation of a former shopping plaza into county office space.

The work, approved at $62,020 under budget, will be at the former plaza along Oakwood Avenue in Napoleon.

The complex, which recently was named the Henry County Office Complex, will house the commissioners, the dog warden, the emergency management agency, and other government offices. Bids recently were awarded for $585,637 for alterations at the same site, which will house the health department as well.

Commissioners hope to relocate by September.
