Way library to offer access to Internet this week

The Way Public Library will begin offering wireless Internet access this week.

Anyone who has a laptop computer equipped to handle wireless Internet access can use the service.

Nancy Kelley, the library's executive director, said an increasing number of patrons have been requesting wireless access.

The library had planned to install the technology in 2006 but was able to offer it sooner because Buckeye CableSystem donated the service.

Buckeye CableSystem is owned by Block Communications, Inc., which also owns The Blade.
