First Siege 1813: The Grand Tactical, the largest 1812 encampment in the country, will take place May 29 and 30 at Fort Meigs State Memorial in Perrysburg. Reenactors portraying British and American soldiers, camp followers and Woodland Indians will encamp on the old fort grounds throughout the weekend. Tactical demonstrations are planned for 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday with a Memorial Day ceremony at 2 p.m. Monday.
