Truck hauling pizzas overturns on U.S. 30

WILLIAMSTOWN, Ohio - A tractor-trailer hauling frozen pizzas overturned on U.S. 30 in southern Hancock County yesterday morning, blocking the road for almost three hours.

Elliott Wichot, 50, of Houstonwas cited by Hancock County sheriff's deputies for failure to control a motor vehicle after the 8:15 a.m. accident in Madison Township near the Van Buren Township line.

Mr. Wichot was westbound when the truck went off the right side of U.S. 30, hit two utility poles, went back onto the roadway, and overturned. He wasn't hurt.
