BOWLING GREEN - Two rezoning requests and two plans for new subdivisions will come before the Wood County Planning Commission when it meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the county office building.

Jefferson Development LLC wants to rezone 10.6 acres on the east side of Thompson Road south of U.S. 20 in Perrysburg Township from agricultural to a planned unit development-residential classification. The developer wants to build a condominium community with 13 buildings containing 52 living units.

In Lake Township, Romanko Development Corp. has plans for a 24.9-acre subdivision to be known as Argyle Forest that would contain 67 single-family lots. The plat is on the east side of Tracy Road at the northeast corner of Tracy and Ayers roads.

Arapaho Development has submitted the final plat of its Indian Creek subdivision along the east side of East Broadway in the unincorporated village of Moline. The 7.2-acre plat would contain 16 single-family lots.

KDZ Corp. wants to re-zone 3.3 acres on the north side of U.S. 6 about a half-mile west of the Wood-Sandusky county line in Freedom Township from agriculture to B-1 neighborhood business. KDZ wants to build a self-storage unit on the property.

Also on Tuesday, the Planning Commission will review 15 applications from Wood County communities for improvement projects to be funded through the county's 2004 community development block grant program.

Dave Steiner, director, said the Planning Commission can recommend six projects to county commissioners to be funded for a total of $341,000. Commissioners are to make the final awards June 8.
