150 brave rain in Rossford to see MTV stars

This is the true story of two celebrities picked to sit in a cell phone store to work together but to their relief, they were not having their lives videotaped.

Brad and Cameran from MTV's The Real World San Diego made a stop yesterday at a new T-Mobile store in Crossroads Centre on U.S. 20 in Rossford to sign autographs for about 150 excited teenage girls and a handful of nonchalant high school guys.

They also posed for pictures - they are, after all, no strangers to the camera. The Real World is

a reality TV show that tapes seven strangers living and working together for about five months, which neither Brad nor Cameran regret taking part in.

"I'd absolutely do it again - in a heartbeat," said Brad, the daredevil from Chicago.

"It was an awesome house, and I miss California," added Cameran, the belle from South Carolina.

As the organized line of awe-struck teenage fans inched into the store and out of the rain, Brad and Cameran took the time to talk to each fan and ask how they spelled their names before autographing a Real World postcard.

Fans were able to ask the stars questions, the most popular ones were about Frankie, this season's Gothic drama queen.

"The show made her look like an angel compared to what she really was," Cameran said.

"I feel like she created a lot of drama that wasn't needed," Brad said, adding that the producers of the show are planning to compile tapes of Frankie portraying who she "really is" for the reunion show.

"It's gonna be hilarious," he said. "I was a little surprised how editing works. I mean you know that going into it, but the editing showed a side of me that they wanted to maximize."

Cameran disagreed, saying she thought the show portrayed her as she sees herself. "A lot of people complained 'They portrayed me wrong,'●" she said. "But what you give is what they show."

Although neither was willing to disclose what happens in the last episode, both willfully revealed their relationship status as attached, but not to each other.

"Yes, I'm seeing someone, but it's not serious," Brad said, adding that it was not the girlfriend he left behind after joining the cast.

"Brad has, like, five girlfriends," Cameran interjected, laughing and slapping his arm. "He has one in every state."

Jonathan Anderson of Verso Group, a promotion company, said Brad and Cameran were at the store because "This is the current cast of The Real World. It's new, it's fresh."

Brad and Cameran also visited the Vin Devers auto dealership on Monroe Street last night before joining Jamie, the show's Korean bombshell, at Headliners, 4500 North Detroit Ave., to judge a hot-body contest.
