A Sylvania Southview High School student was killed, and a Toledo woman was hurt Friday in a three-vehicle crash in northern Michigan.
Another woman also was killed in the incident, authorities said.
Kaitlyn Hodges, 15, was one of those killed. She was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Katharine Grieve, 20, of Toledo, Michigan State Police troopers at the Gaylord post said.
Ms. Grieve was eastbound on M-32 near Gaylord about3:20 p.m. when she stopped to pull into a gas station.
A vehicle driven by William Straight, 69, of Leesburg, Fla., struck Ms. Grieve s vehicle and pushed it into the oncoming lane of traffic.
A vehicle driven by Rachael Kilbourn, 20, of Elmira, Mich., struck Ms. Grieve s vehicle broadside, troopers said.
A passenger in Ms. Kilbourn s vehicle, Maryanna Isom, 63, of Elmira, Mich., also was killed.
Ms. Grieve was taken to St. Mary s Hospital in Saginaw, Mich., where her condition was unavailable as of last night.
Ms. Kilbourn was treated at Otsego Memorial Hospital. Mr. Straight was not hurt.
