PAYNE, Ohio - An estimated 30 cars on an eastbound Norfolk Southern freight train jumped the tracks in Paulding County yesterday. No one was injured.
Railroad spokesman Rudy Husband said a car containing flammable gas was involved in the 4:50 p.m. derailment, but was intact. The train, bound for Bellevue, Ohio, from Chicago, had 127 cars.
The cause was not immediately known.
