ADRIAN

  • Lenawee County Heritage Festival, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Farmers Antique Tractor and Engine Association, US 223 and Forrister Rd. Admission is $2 per person, children under 12 free with an adult.

    BOWLING GREEN

  • Volunteers are needed to work on garden and nursery care from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Agricultural Incubator on State Rt. 582 just west of State Rt. 25. Call the Wood County Park District, 419-353-1897.

  • Preschoolers ages 3 to 5 1/2 can come to the Carter-Loomis Farm Park north of Bowling Green on Carter Road to find out which creatures stink and why, from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Thursday. Call the park district to register.

  • Volunteers are needed to help monitor water quality on the Maumee River, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at Otsego Park on State Rt. 65 at State Rt. 235. Dress to get wet and muddy. Call the park district to register.

    FINDLAY

  • The 5th annual Flag City Balloon Fest begins at 6 p.m. Friday at Emory Adams Park at Blanchard and Sixth streets. The festival continues all day Saturday. North American Balloon Association competition fly-ins will run from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.

  • Three Dog Night will perform at 3 p.m. Sunday at Findlay Ford on County Road 99 just off I-75. The concert, which is sponsored by the Arts Partnership of Greater Hancock County and the Findlay Rotary Club, costs $20 for adults, $5 for children, which includes lunch. Proceeds benefit a number of nonprofit organizations, including Medical Equipment Supplies Abroad and Children's Wishing Star. Contact the Arts Partnership for tickets, 419-422-4624.

    TOLEDO

  • A town hall meeting sponsored by Ohio State Senator Teresa Fedor, Planned Parenthood of Northwest Ohio Inc., and NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio, to discuss contraceptive equity will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Monday at Saint Paul's United Methodist Church in Toledo.
