Collision seriously injures motorcyclist from Findlay

ELMORE, Ohio - A Findlay man was in serious condition yesterday in Medical College of Ohio Hospitals, where he was flown after his motorcycle collided with a large pickup north of Elmore on Sunday.

James Johnson, 58, was riding southwest on State Rt. 105 at

4:55 p.m. when he failed to stop at red flashing lights at the intersection with State Rt. 51 in Ottawa County's Harris Township, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

He collided with a pickup driven by Jose Pozos, 29, of Okeechobee, Fla. Neither Mr. Pozos nor his five passengers, who were returning to a migrant labor camp, were injured.

Charges are expected against Mr. Johnson, troopers said, but had not been filed yesterday.
