Lauren O'Brien, 16, leads a cheer as she marches with other Maumee High School cheerleaders in the 27th Annual Maumee Summer Fair parade in Uptown Maumee. Sponsored by the Maumee Uptown Business Association, the two-day event last weekend, annually draws 20,000 to 25,000 people. Other event highlights included a street fair with about 200 booths featuring arts and crafts and displays by businesses, schools, financial institutions, and other organizations.
