Painting, bridge repairs to affect I-75, I-280 traffic

9/1/2004

Bridge repairs will require a lane closing on northbound I-75 on the north side of Toledo tonight, while overpass painting will close a ramp at the I-75/I-280 junction tomorrow night, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced.

At 7 tonight, northbound I-75 will be reduced to one lane at the Stickney-Lagrange interchange for repair work on the Stickney Avenue and Cecelia Avenue bridges. State officials advised motorists to expect delays in the area. All lanes are scheduled to reopen by 6 a.m. tomorrow.

At 7 p.m. tomorrow, the ramp from northbound I-280 to northbound I-75 will close while painters put the finishing touches on the Manhattan Boulevard bridge over the ramp.

The exit to Manhattan also will be closed.

Traffic will be detoured to the Stickney-Lagrange exit on southbound I-75, where motorists may enter northbound I-75 or use Stickney to reach Manhattan.
