OAK HARBOR, Ohio Police yesterday identified an 85-year-old Oak Harbor man who was struck by a train and killed Wednesday.

Oak Harbor Patrolman Jim Seaman said Lee Schnoor was walking back to his home from the Community Markets grocery store about 5:30 p.m. when he began crossing the Norfolk Southern railroad tracks on Main Street.

He failed to see a northbound train and was hit.

Officer Seaman said acquaintances of Mr. Schnoor told police that his eyesight had been deteriorating.
