FINDLAY - The Findlay Community Foundation yesterday unveiled a $4 million plan to buy and convert the vacant Food Town store on North Blanchard Street into a central location for about a dozen agencies that serve the needy.

Barbara Deerhake, director of the foundation, said the group hopes to buy the property from Kroger, which bought the shuttered Foodtown store in 2003.
