BOWLING GREEN - A Toledo girl received injuries to her eye and cheek Saturday when her aunt's dog attacked her.

According to police, Nia Johnston, 8, was visiting Kelly Avery at her South College Avenue home about 2:20 p.m. when the male Siberian husky bit her. She was reportedly flown to the University of Michigan Medical Center, Ann Arbor, although the hospital had no information on the Johnston youth yesterday.

The dog had a current rabies vaccination and was licensed in Wood County, police said.
