Swanton firefighter and emergency medical technician Gary Roytek shows Crestwood Elementary students a fire engine during a tour of the station Oct. 21. The event was part of Fire Safety Awareness Month for Swanton elementary students. The children went through the station, received safety information, and saw demonstrations of the equipment. Groups from different schools toured the station throughout the day.
