Fostoria education board seeking to fill open post

FOSTORIA The Fostoria Board of Education is seeking candidates to replace Nicholas Kentris, who is resigning from the board effective Friday.

The board will accept letters of interest from potential applicants through 4:30 p.m. Jan. 4. Letters can be dropped off or mailed to the superintendent s office, 500 Parkway Drive, Fostoria, Ohio, 44830.

The board will choose the replacement for Mr. Kentris, whose term runs through December, 2007. Whoever is chosen would have to run for election in November to complete the rest of the term.
