Locations to drop off Christmas trees

LUCAS COUNTY

Residents in Ottawa Hills, Maumee, Sylvania, and Waterville can put their Christmas trees on the curb for recycling.

Toledoans are asked to bring trees to one of three drop-off sites:

  • Oregon municipal building, 5330 Seaman Rd. (behind municipal building) from Dec. 26-Jan 15.

  • Clean Wood Recycling, 6505 Bancroft St.

  • Kurtz Brothers Compost Facility, 15 Stickney Ave. Proof of Lucas County residency required.

    ERIE COUNTY

    Sandusky offers curbside pickup starting Jan. 12th at Kiwanis Park at First Street and Cedar Point Drive. The drop-off site is at Shelby/Putnam Municipal Boat Launch Jan. 12-16.

    Huron offers curbside from Dec. 29 -Jan. 5.

    Castalia and Milan offer curbside until Jan. 9.

    Perkins Township offers curbside from Jan. 12 -16.

    HANCOCK COUNTY

    Drop-off sites throughout the county from Dec. 26 - Jan. 18.

    WILLIAMS COUNTY

    Curbside offered in the Bryan area on Jan. 4.

    WOOD COUNTY

    Perrysburg Township offers curbside pickup on Jan. 5.

    Haskins offers curbside pickup through Jan. 15.

    Grand Rapids offers curbside the first Monday of every month for village residents only. Drop-off site at the waste-water treatment plant.

    Bowling Green offers curbside after Jan. 1.

    Milton Township will accept drop-off on Jan. 17.

    Portage offers curbside through January.

    In North Baltimore, curbside will run Jan. 5-9.

    In Rossford, curbside runs through the end of February.

    Northwood offers curbside during the second week in January.

    Walbridge curbside pickup runs through Jan. 17.

    In Lake Township, the drop-off is at 3800 Ayers Rd.; in Troy Township the drop-off is at the Tri-Township Cemetery, and in Montgomery Township the drop-off is at Township Hall.

    Pemberville offers curbside recycling.

    Drop-off at various Wood County Park District sites is through Jan. 5 at five locations, including park district headquarters, 18729 Mercer Rd., Bowling Green; William Henry Harrison Park on Pemberville Road south of Pemberville; Otsego Park at State Routes 65 and 235 near Grand Rapids; W.W. Knight Preserve at White and East River roads in Perrysburg Township, and in North Baltimore at the Slippery Elm Trail south terminus.
