Emily Bruhl, 3, kisses her new brother, Joshua, who has the distinction of being the first baby born in Lucas County in 2005. Joshua, weighing 7 pounds, 15 ounces, was delivered at 6:18 a.m. New Year's Day in St. Anne Mercy Hospital. Looking on are Emily and Joshua's parents, Steven and Laurel. The family lives in Maumee.
