BOWLING GREEN

  • Bring the whole family to enjoy Native American and pioneer games at Otsego Park from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Contact the Wood County Park District to register.

  • Woodland Mall's annual health fair will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. Free blood pressure checks will be offered, and health-care agencies and associations will be present.

    FINDLAY

  • The Hancock Park District will hold its third annual "Snow Bowl" disc golf scramble at Riverbend Disc Golf Trail at 2 p.m. Sunday. Teams will be charged a $15 entry fee per group. Proceeds will be divided among the American Red Cross Tsunami Victims Fund and Local Disc Golf Fund. Call the park district for more information.

  • The 25th annual conference of the Ohio Association of Child and Youth Care Professionals Inc. will be held Wednesday and Thursday at Sawmill Creek Lodge for people who work with children and youth in foster homes, group homes, detention facilities, and hospitals. Cost for the two-day event is $225, which includes one night's accommodation, meals, and workshops. A one-day option is available for $65.

  • Learn to identify trees using bark, buds, and other clues during an event from 2 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Community Foundation Preserve at Eagle Point. Weather permitting, a "tree ID" hike at the Mike

  • Cedar Point will conduct walk-in interviews for more than 4,000 summer jobs and internships from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Breakers Express Hotel, 1201 Cedar Point Dr. Prospective employees can apply for jobs online at www.cedarpoint.com.

  • Israeli political scholar Gadi Wolfsfeld, director of the Levi Eschkol Institute for Social Science, will speak at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Jewish Community Center, 6465 Sylvania Ave. The talk is free to the public.

  • A conference for women considering a return to college will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Franciscan Center at Lourdes College. Featured speakers include Owens Community College President Christa Adams, and Margaret Mallory, superintendent of United Methodist Church. Cost is $10, including lunch.
