A Wood County man was killed and an Ottawa County woman was hurt seriously Friday night in a car-pickup collision at Oregon Road and U.S. 20 in Perrysburg Township, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Steven Johnson, 46, of Luckey, driver of the pickup who was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from his truck when it rolled over after impact, was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers at the patrol's Walbridge Post said.

Car driver Glee A. Bryan, 53, of Martin was in serious condition yesterday in the intensive care unit at St. Luke's Hospital. Ms. Bryan's passenger, Bradley W.J. Koperski, 4, of Northwood was treated at St. Luke's.

Mr. Johnson was southbound on Oregon Road about 9:30 p.m. when he apparently failed to stop at a stop sign at U.S. 20. Ms. Bryan's car, which was westbound on U.S. 20, collided with Mr. Johnson's pickup, troopers said.
