3 falcon eggs spotted in nest atop Lima bank

LIMA, Ohio - A pair of peregrine falcons that have made their home in downtown Lima have made a deposit at the Bank One building on West High Street - three eggs in a nest atop the structure.

Bill Roshak, state biologist with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources' Division of Wildlife, inspected the nest yesterday, confirming that the banded pair are the same falcons that were in Lima last year.

The pair, who are named Majestic and Intimidator, nested for the first time in Lima last year.

Four chicks hatched last May in a nesting box on the National Bank Building.
