Accident shuts portion of U.S. 24 for 61/2 hours

NAPOLEON - U.S. 24 on the east side of this Henry County city was closed for 6 1/2 hours yesterday morning after a semi tractor driver fell asleep and the truck he was driving overturned, spilling its load of tomatoes.

Wesley Hodder, 35, of Tulsa, Okla., was charged with failure to maintain reasonable control by Napoleon police after his eastbound truck rolled on its side at 4:10 a.m. Mr. Hodder, who was driving for John Christner of Oklahoma, was not injured. The Ohio Department of Transportation reopened the road at 10:45 a.m.
