4-county service agency OKs $5M in contracts

ARCHBOLD, Ohio - The mental health and substance abuse service agency for Defiance, Fulton, Henry, and Williams counties has approved more than $5 million in contracts for fiscal 2005 and agreed to give a 3 percent raise to its executive director.

The Four County ADAMhs Board voted Thursday to authorize service contracts for the Maumee Valley Guidance Center, $1.5 million; First Call for Help, $1.2 million; Five County Alcohol/Drug Program, $800,000; Family Services of Northwest Ohio, $684,000; Quadco Rehabilitation Center, $310,000; New Home Development Co., $240,000; Center for Child and Family Advocacy, $125,000; Fulton County Health Center Stress Unit, $90,000; Northwest Ohio Community Action Commission PATH Center, $75,000; and Defiance Regional Medical Center Coping Center, $20,000.

The board also gave the agency's executive director, Les McCaslin, his annual evaluation, raised his annual salary to $77,250 effective May 15, and increased his paid vacation time from three weeks to four weeks a year.
