Granholm in Monroe for public forum today

MONROE - Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm is scheduled to be in Monroe today to discuss trash importation, jobs, and other issues with local residents, the Michigan Democratic Party announced yesterday.

The first-term governor is scheduled to appear at 11 a.m. at Bobby's Kitchen, near South Dixie Highway and Dunbar Road, together with the county's two Democratic state representatives, Herb Kehrl (D., Monroe) and Kathy Angerer (D., Dundee).
