4/30/2005

A Swanton man won $154,000 and a Toledo woman won $100,000 this week in separate Ohio Lottery games.

David B. Korecki, of Swanton, won the top prize for matching five numbers in the Thursday Rolling Cash 5 jackpot.

He completed his claim yesterday at the lottery regional office in Toledo.

The winning numbers were 2, 5, 6, 10, and 33.

Mr. Korecki will receive $110,110 after mandatory federal and state withholding taxes of 28.5 percent.

He bought the ticket at Pik Kwik, 95 South Main St., Swanton, which will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Shirley Reddick, of Toledo, received a check from lottery representatives yesterday at Tom's Carryout, 2861 Lagrange St., where in April, 2004, she bought a $5 instant game ticket, "$100,000 Bonus Bingo."

She initially won $1,000, and her ticket bore a symbol that allowed her to enter the Total Prize Drawing contest.

Her name was drawn from other entries Monday, making her a $100,000 winner.

After mandatory withholding taxes, her total prize was $71,500.
