Memorial holiday closings

City, county, state, and federal government offices will be closed Monday for Memorial Day.

Auto title offices will also be closed. The Toledo Police Department records office will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

A list of select services follows:

Banks, financial institutions, and banking centers will be closed Monday, except for Sky Bank s banking center in Westfield Shoppingtown at Franklin Park, which will be open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Most shopping malls will have abbreviated hours Monday.

Southwyck Shopping Center and Woodville Mall will close at 6 p.m. Westfield Shoppingtown at Franklin Park will be open regular hours to 9 p.m. Westgate Village Shopping Center will be open noon to 5 p.m.

Individual stores in the malls may have separate hours.

Public and parochial schools, colleges, and universities will be closed and no classes held Monday. Owens Community College will be closed Saturday through Monday.

Toledo Edison office and phone service and Columbia Gas phone center will be closed Monday.

Service will be available only for emergencies.

The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library and Sanger branch library will be closed Sunday and Monday.

There will be no mail delivery or mail collection on Monday and no window services at the Main Post Office or any of the classified stations or branches. The bulk mail acceptance unit will be closed. Express Mail will be delivered 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority buses will operate on a holiday schedule Monday.

Trash pickup will be delayed one day all week in Toledo and outlying areas.

Ottawa Hills regular Monday-Tuesday trash pickup will be delayed to Tuesday-Wednesday.

Meter parking downtown will be free Monday.
