A 38-year-old West Toledoan was killed yesterday when he drove the wrong way on I-75 and struck a tractor-trailer head-on near the North Detroit Avenue exit, Toledo police said.

Jad Jamra, of 4111 Seckinger Ct., who was driving a car, was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was driving north in the southbound lanes of the interstate about 5:45 a.m. and collided head-on with a tractor-trailer driven by David Vick, 45, of Lansing, police said.

The impact forced the semi to its left. That, in turn, forced a southbound car driven by Constance Douglas, 43, of 533 East Central Ave. into the center median. Mr. Vick was not hurt. Ms. Douglas was treated at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, police said.
