City, county, state, and federal government offices will be closed tomorrow in observance of Independence Day.
Auto title offices also will be closed, but the Toledo police records office will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
A list of select services tomorrow follows:
Businesses
All banks, financial institutions, bank marts, and banking centers will be closed, except for Sky Bank's banking center in Westfield Franklin Park mall, which will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Retail centers
Most shopping centers will have shorter hours, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Westgate Village Shopping Center will be open from noon to 5 p.m.
Individual stores may have separate hours.
Schools
Colleges and universities will be closed and no classes held.
Public utilities
Toledo Edison office and phone service and Columbia Gas' phone center will be closed.
Service will be available only for emergencies.
Libraries
The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library and branches will be closed. The Sanger branch library also will be closed today.
Mail service
There will be no mail delivery or mail collection and no window services at the Main Post Office or any of the classified stations or branches.
The Bulk Mail Acceptance Unit will be closed. Express Mail will be delivered from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Bus service
Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority buses will operate on a holiday schedule.
Trash pickup
Trash pickup will be delayed one day all week in Toledo and outlying areas. Ottawa Hills' Monday-Tuesday trash pickup will be Tuesday and Wednesday.
Parking
Meter parking in downtown Toledo will be free.
