HUDSON, Mich. - Work begins today on resurfacing a six-mile stretch of M-34 between U.S. 127 in Hudson and M-156 in Clayton, according to Michigan Department of Transportation officials.

Work on the $11 million project will cut traffic to one lane. A temporary signal will be installed to regulate traffic.

The project is expected to be completed in early November, MDOT officials said.
