Humane Society reduces cat-adoption fee
9/13/2005The Toledo Area Humane Society has reduced its adoption fees in an effort to find homes for 346 cats currently in its shelter.
The cats are available for adoption at the society's headquarters 1920 Indian Wood Circle in Maumee's Arrowhead Park.
An additional adoption location will be at the Pet Supplies Plus store, 849 West Alexis Rd.
Two cats or kittens can be adopted for one adoption fee, $80, and black cats will be available for half the adoption fee, $40.
Seniors can adopt any senior pet (6 years and older) on Wednesdays for free, and will be charged half the adoption fee for any adoption the rest of the week.
