Two women and two girls were hurt last night when the car they were in and a WUPW-TV, Channel 36 sport utility vehicle collided on Anthony Wayne Trail at City Park Avenue, authorities said.

The accident closed the southbound Trail for about 1 hours. Two of the victims were trapped for a time.

Lotina Saunders, whose age and address were not released, the front-seat passenger in the car, was in fair condition in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.

Voncile Bradley, 42, whose address also was unavailable, the driver of the car, was taken to Medical University of Ohio Medical Center. Her condition was unavailable. The two girls, who were in the back seat, were taken to Toledo Hospital and St. Vincent. Their names and conditions were not available.

Michael Thompson, a WUPW-TV photographer, who firefighters said was the only person in the SUV and who was not hurt, was southbound on the Trail at City Park about 8:15 p.m. The car, which was northbound on the Trail, attempted to turn west onto City Park and drove into the path of the SUV, police at the scene said. It was unclear last night who had the right of way, officers said.
