Sylvania Township: Fall refuse pickup to begin Monday

Sylvania Township will begin its general fall refuse pickup beginning Monday and running through Oct. 7.

Residents should put unwanted items at the curb for pickup.

Officials said that items which include refrigerants will not be picked up.

Also paint, batteries, tires and some other items are excluded from the collection.

Neatly piled brush will be collected, but items should not be placed in plastic bags.
