Perrysburg: Leaf crews begin Tuesday

10/5/2005

Perrysburg crews will be collecting leaves beginning Tuesday, with two passes in each area of the city.

Residents should rake their leaves to the area between the curb and the sidewalk by the designated date for their area.

Leaves should not be bagged or piled near mailboxes. Sticks, stones, and other objects in the piles can damage the city's vacuum equipment.

A map is available on the city's Web site, which is www.ci.perrysburg.oh.us.

Area 1, which extends from the Maumee River to South Boundary Street between Maple and East Boundary streets, will be covered the weeks of Oct. 10 and Nov. 7.

Area 5, which includes parts of the city east of East Boundary Street, east of I-75, and the area east of State Rt. 25 and north of Roachton Road, will be picked up Oct. 10 and Oct. 31. Area 5 includes Southwood Park, Meadowcreek subdivision, Martindale subdivision, Shawnee Trace and Shawnee Junction, Three Meadows, Valleybrook subdivision, and White Hall Estates.

Areas 2 and 3, from the Maumee River to South Boundary Street between Maple and Pine streets, the area between South Boundary Street and I-75 east of Louisiana Avenue, and part of the area south of South Boundary Street west of Louisiana Avenue, will be picked up Oct. 17 and Nov. 14. That includes the Pheasant Run, Perry Commons, and Gorman View subdivisions.

Area 4, including both sides of Pine Street and everything west of Pine not included in another area, will be Oct. 27 and Nov. 28.
