An East Toledo woman died two days after she was hurt in a two-car accident on Miami Street, police said.

Cheryl Williams, 48, of 1648 Bond St. died at 10:30 p.m. Sunday in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Sgt. Paul Kerschbaum said. She was a passenger in a car driven by James Schnabel, 52, of Rossford.

Mr. Schnabel was driving south on Miami about 8:30 p.m. Friday after exiting I-75 as Dalton Wilkinson, 17, of West Toledo was exiting I-75 from a different direction. Mr. Schnabel was in the inside lane and Mr. Wilkinson was in the merge lane. Their cars collided when Mr. Wilkinson was trying to turn left into a driveway in front of Mr. Schnabel s car, police said.

Ms. Williams did not see a doctor immediately, but went to the hospital about two hours later, the sergeant said. No one else was hurt.
