Woman injured as she leaps from moving truck

A 38-year-old woman was hurt yesterday jumping out of a moving tractor-trailer on State Rt. 795 in Rossford, police said.

Zhang Xuqina was taken by helicopter to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center with what police described as nonlife-threatening injuries. No information was available last night on her condition, a hospital spokesman said.

Ms. Xuqina was arguing with her boyfriend, Jin Song Bai, 35, of California, who was driving the rig eastbound on Route 795 east of the Crossroads of America, near the Ohio Turnpike. She asked to get out, but before Mr. Bai could bring the vehicle to a complete stop, she jumped out, police said.

No charges were filed, officers added.
