Work will slow I-75 traffic in Michigan

11/1/2005

MONROE Northbound I-75 will be reduced from three lanes to one at Dunbar Road, just north of LaPlaisance Road in Monroe, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today while the traffic pattern is shifted for overpass repairs, the Michigan Department of Transportation announced.

Multi-mile delays are likely in the area approaching the work zone, so motorists should consider using M-125 or U.S. 23 as alternate routes. After the work zone is set up, two lanes will be maintained on northbound I-75 at Dunbar until the work is finished late next week.
