t●Historic quilt on display: Friends of the Library quilt depicts some historic aspects of Delta in the library's new addition. The 30 quilt squares are framed in a shadow box to preserve their integrity. The quilt includes the Delta Depot, City Hall 1894, Main Street 1880, Old Brick School House 1890, Reighard Blacksmith Shop, Monarch Mill, Trolley Car, Fire of 1892, Lincoln Hotel, the first marriage in 1840, and the first birth in 1841.

t●Members of the Warkentin family tell the story of flight and eventual settlement in Swanton Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. in the library's community room. Their memories are published in Seams of Gold by Vera Jones. Free to the public.

t●Zathura sweepstakes at the library to celebrate the release of the movie based on the children's book. Children enter by answering the question "What is one question you would like to ask an astronaut about space?"
