OHP elevates sergeant, gives him Lima post

LIMA, Ohio Sgt. Shannon P. Gehrisch of the Ohio Highway Patrol s Findlay district headquarters has a new title and a new job.

Effective Friday, he became Lieutenant Gehrisch and was named commander of the patrol s Lima post.

Since joining the patrol in 1991, he was the Bucyrus post s Trooper of the Year in 1996, and in 1999 he was recognized as the top trooper in the OHP Bucyrus District.
